Southern Maryland Land Clearing is a free referral service for Southern Maryland property owners who need land cleared. We are not a land clearing company. We do not run machines, employ crews, or hold equipment. What we do is connect you with a local contractor who can walk the property, talk through the right method honestly, and give you a written quote directly. There is no cost to you for the introduction.
What We Cover
Most requests fall into four kinds of work. Forestry mulching grinds standing brush, vines, and small trees in place and leaves the mulch on the ground. Brush and underbrush clearing reclaims overgrown fields, fence lines, and wood edges. Lot and land clearing handles full site prep for building pads, new homesites, and driveways, with trees and stumps removed. Right-of-way clearing cuts linear corridors for access lanes, trails, and property boundaries. Which method fits depends on what you want left behind, the density of growth, and how the equipment can reach the work. A contractor sorts that out on a quick site visit.
Service Area
We route requests across the three Southern Maryland counties: Charles County, St. Mary's County, and Calvert County. That covers Waldorf, Leonardtown, and Prince Frederick, along with surrounding communities like La Plata, Hughesville, Mechanicsville, California, Lexington Park, Charlotte Hall, Huntingtown, and Lusby. Much of this is wooded Coastal-Plain ground where brush, vines, and pine come back fast, so projects range from a single overgrown residential lot to acres of rural parcel or farm field.
What We Don't Do
We don't clear land ourselves, and we don't grind a single stump. The contractor who comes out is the one who performs the work and stands behind it. We also don't take a cut of your project price. Whatever the contractor quotes is between you and them, and the working relationship is direct from the first phone call.
